Note on estimate: we are doing this just for for one language (English) as a POC experiment.

Timeboxed to look at logging and investigate further. After timebox, let's discuss further with engineers if there still isn't a clear solution.

@Sucheta-Salgaonkar-WMF - @Sdkb I discussed this task again as this comes up regularly as a complaint at English Wikipedia. I'm unclear how much effort a change like this would require... but I imagine this will become even more urgent as Suggestion Mode roles out and more people have access to link suggestions.

Totally understand. If there isn’t a logical way to break the work into smaller subtasks, then I think the best next step is probably to agree on a clear timebox before we revisit the task again.
