@A_smart_kitten Yes, it was intentional as we decided it would be useful to surface the ‘Create account’ link close to the temp account username.

@Esanders The bar without the circle was one of a number of options explored. From what I recall we decided on the circle option as it was easier to see when scanning a list of users/contributions.

Added an image of the designs and updated the acceptance criteria with some more detail.

Added image of designs and new link to Figma. I’ve also updated the acceptance criteria to explain the expected behaviour of the list.

I’ve added a link in the description to the updated Figma designs. My suggested solution is to change the message to ‘notice’ level status. This will use the info icon rather than the alert icon and change the colour to grey. This level of message is probably more appropriate to what is being communicated and will avoid a visual style clash with the existing block warnings.

@KieranMcCann-WMF do you have a recommendation for what to use for the icon? Here's what it looks like with the cdxIconArticlesSearch icon

@kostajh Yes I’m happy with that proposal. I don’t see any need to add a new icon for this particular instance.

I would agree with @KColeman-WMF, I prefer without the patch. The overlap of the icon hover state with the temp account background colour isn’t ideal.

Yes, what @Dreamy_Jazz said. There would be an issue with making changes the the Codex design system component iself as this would then change all instances of it which we would want to avoid. If there is a way of adjusting this particular insatnce with a CSS patch that avoids having to change it at component level then I think that would be okay.

It appears that the additional white space is part of the component as it’s a Codex icon button. The space allows for the grey background hover state to be more visible.
