I'm not sure if it's clear that it's a bug in the news style:

I see more reason to stay away from rendering any borders on the water (current production instead of devel) - all of them look bad and strange, because they are not continuous:
Allotments are currently not visible even on devel, I think they should be shown the same as other green areas with labels.
It would also be good to see forest labels.
I don't see what parking lots could have to do with Wikimedia projects?
Current layout (and devel changes) suggests me that this style serves two purposes:
- light location map - which makes sense for illustrating location of Wikimedia projects and background for showing specific POIs and borders
- transportation map, to some degree - I'm not sure if that makes sense here, looks like a bit of add-on (a lot of platforms/stations, but lack of transport lines)
Or is it already solved by now and the name is "Brighmed"? I'm pretty new to the whole structure of WMF mapping framework.
I see, so you just decide to add special rendering for disputed borders and it's OK for me. But with 3. there's a missing part of the undisputed border probably and this is what caught my eye, have you noticed this? What's the reason?
Yes, exactly. My question is why to change that on devel when the visual effect is more confusing?
I mean a visual clarity. With production server 1. is clear:

The same in Japany - it looks like only related to country names if the space permits. A screenshot to illustrate:
I see.
Maybe just something like "Brighter"?
