This is not asking about how many mentors you have but how many people in general are contributing on a regular basis. Even a broad estimate of your contributor base would be helpful. Thanks!

I noticed that you have said that the project is "accepting public contributions for 0-2 months" which was flagged as a concern, since Outreachy projects should be well-established projects. However, my understanding is that the project is not new, especially since a version of it was in a previous round of Outreachy. Could you please clarify?

Hi @RitikaPahwa4444 a few suggestions: it might be helpful to provide some nuance on what aspects of Kotlin/Android development experience, knowledge and skills would be required. It would also be good to know if you expect the applicant to be familiar with some sort of Android release process or if that will be handled automatically by an existing commons app pipeline.

@Ragesoss Apologies forgot to mention: after hearing from Isaac, I understand that this project might evolve a bit, which is fine. Hi @Bodhisattwa I do want to note that Outreachy 31 happened prior to our introduction of the updated requirements; we are now trying to take a more structured approach to projects, so that's why we're asking for more specifics.

Thanks @Bodhisattwa this is going in the right direction! However, the expected impact is still extremely broad and does not seem calibrated to a three-month project. Please consider what can completed and measured during the internship.

@Yaron_Koren I imagine it's partially due to the ranking - out of fairness to the other projects, it was ranked lower since it did come in after the deadline. But beyond that, I'm not sure. For what it's worth, Google stated that "Due to a high volume of requests (1681), most organizations did not receive all the contributor slots they asked for" so we're definitely not the only organization that did not get to have all the projects.
