@AbbanWMDE ... I went for Codex Tooltip Style for now, I guess we need to discuss, if we want change that. The existing one, looks much different, but I can change the style very unproblematic.

@AbbanWMDE ... this is good to go from my side. But I would also love to test it in templates before final development. What do you think? This is the case for all the components by the way, maybe we wait another sprint, and I will test all components in proper templates first.

I created first simple case components for buttons, we need to clarify:

• sizes
• intentions
• mobile vs. desktop
• with icon / without icon
• hover etc.

Hello Volker, I updated the icon in the codex base colour and we do not net flipped versions of it.
Is the ok for you, do you need anything else?

I can´t recall the source, I guess it was google icon set.
The Icon colour just need to be changed to the Codex Colours. I suggest the base icon colour base: #202122

(These screenshots just made me notice that the “normal” list entry color on hover is apparently the same as the “more” color when not hovered… but that’s probably not a problem in practice.)

The suggester list:

There are other minor parts with hard-coded colors (like the popups for selecting the unit of a quantity or the language of a monolingual text), but IMHO they’re not as important (all the ones I found were still usable, and as they’re a small part of the screen, they don’t burn your eyes out with their brightness either), so I think it would be better to leave them out of this task, and clean them up later after we’ve enabled dark mode on Wikidata.
