Just to make sure I'm tracking this correctly, it seems that some of the internal clicks are being mislabeled / incorrectly identified as external - is that correct?

Looks like on DTIC records they include the field: "Distribution Statement : APPROVED FOR PUBLIC RELEASE"
This might help to weed out some records that are locked down b/c they are classified or restricted to DOD.

Just as a heads up this is the US department of defense's (DOD) repository. Sadly only minimal content is open to the public. Much of it requires DOD sign-in and could frustrate users.. I've spoken with the librarians who help maintain this resource and they don't see if opening too much more anytime soon.
