An updated from user testing sessions in June (see https://github.com/OpenRefine/CommonsExtension/issues/28 ): This comment from above – "Interestingly, when ignoring the error message and clicking 'OK' anyway, data will be extended and the requested columns will be produced." actually does not work anymore. If an error is generated, the data extension won't work, so further fixes are required on this bug.

This design research, and the resulting workflow sketches and lo-fi wireframes helped us to make some major architectural decisions, as described under 'Learning' in this report. Thanks for the immediate reply! Yes, context indeed would be useful, we are a group of users meeting at a federated wikibases workshop and this is just a discussion we wanted to document here. We were indeed looking at https://query.wikidata.org/ Thanks to the efforts of Adam Shorland we now have a docker install available for Wikibase which comes packaged with WDQS. This is a great start, but the suggestions we discussed and documented in this issue are potentially for future products that might come with Wikibase docker images. This is very speculative, but I am happy to participate in any user studies you might run in the future if it could be helpful. Filling in the template below as well.
