When paid developers (who don't seem to use the site as power editors or vandal fighter or ...) destroy the workflow of thousands of free editors and some of them complain, I fully expect to restore the software back to what worked.
If you still need to explore options: Do it! But do it AFTER restoring the workflow and BEFORE destroying it again with other tests!! There have been clear stated expectations about this point, when the new prototype was shown (including the feedback of over 300 users!).
