@Aklapper @ppelberg It's been almost two months and nobody noticed this, but this issue still happens. I tried it now and the exact same thing happened as before two months. So please, can you have a look on it? Thank you.

1. Go to Czech Wikipedia. I use Google Chrome as my browser.
   1. Go to any page with infobox (for example Papoušek zlatoperý - https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papou%C5%A1ek_zlatoper%C3%BD
   2. Choose to edit with Visual Editor
   3. Put references list to any section not under the infobox (use Vložit -> Seznam referencí to add reflist). This happens in every section like that; size of the gap depends on how high you place the reflist; more high means bigger gap.

Same thing happens on enwiki; first reference is shown ot the place where the reflist is added and then there is a giant space and rest of the references are shown under the infobox. It doesn't happen everytime, though.

You have to remove the references and add them back in VisualEditor to reproduce the issue, or it happens when you add references for the first time while creating an article.

I use Google Chrome. I don't use Incognito window. And yes, it happens when I log out from one wiki, log in on that wiki and then go to another wiki (sometimes it's needed to start editing in VisualEditor for repeating symbols to appear). After I refresh the page, the symbols appear normally.

Happened to me today again at hrwiki, but now there were 5 icons instead of 3 or 4, so it seems it's different on every wiki.

Today it happened to me two times on Meta, but now there were only 3 icons, not 4.

@matmarex If I click behind the link, it continues editing the link. This hasn't been happening before yesterday, if I clicked behind the link, it stopped being edited and I could write outside of it. So the problem started yesterday (7 February 2021) and it still lasts. Only if I use arrow keys, I'm able to write outside the link. I'm using Google Chrome.

@Aklapper I also need to say this problem makes editing in VisualEditor much more difficult.
