I feel like contacting affiliates is kind of tricky to work out before we know what content we will get from the governments. Is there an understanding of which affiliates would be interested and potentially have data based on the work from KOK so we could create a kind of example? I think UK or Ireland might work well because they have a lot of knowledge but don't have a lot of Wikidata technical ability.

Thanks @Ladsgroup , @Jakob_WMDE and @thiemowmde if there's any tasks I can swap you for or any other favours that would free up a bit of time to look at this please let me know (I'm a muggle with no programming skills)

@Ladsgroup thanks very much, do you know who would be the right person/people to ask about frontend who could assess it?
Draft text here
@Ladsgroup @Pasleim @Addshore please can you help with trying to make this work? We are really dependent on this working so we can have tours to onboard new people, both in general and for our project FindingGLAMs (trying to create a worldwide database of cultural heritage institutions on Wikidata) https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/FindingGLAMs

@Sebastian_Berlin-WMSE I think I've found someone who could do a code review, but I don't know how to answer his question, see https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Project_chat#Code_review_request_to_fix_Wikidata_Tours
@MartinPoulter (saw your post about Wikidata on Commons), could that be turned into a tour?

Ok, no problem :)
@Jopparn I think it would be sensible to talk about if we want to include heritage registers in our imports, they are not exclusively about GLAMs but will include GLAMs and institutions that include libraries e.g universities
@Alicia_Fagerving_WMSE can you think of other 'instance of's that we could look for to find datasets already mentioned on Wikidata?

@Jopparn are there any existing presentations I can use slides from?
We could make them collapsed tables instead of seperate pages? It looks great as it is, I could also maybe add little icons for the different regions? E.g https://thenounproject.com/search/?q=americas&i=1104643
I'm still seeing boxes in the wrong place :(

@Lydia_Pintscher @johl just so you're aware this is happening, this is the blocker for adding non CC0 datasets to Commons that can be used by the query service. I have documentation written ready to go for people to use Commons data files in Wikidata queries (e.g map shape files from OpenStreetMap). If you could ask in your network to find a volunteer (or staff member) to help move this along that would be super
Wikimedia UK confirm QRpedia can create QR codes successfully but the stats server has been disabled and won't be returning
