Tyvm for the patch. Yes, USSF is using Chameleon. NASA is using that EmphasizeDays setting to encourage users (admins and normal users) do frequently do their reviews, though I think they have it set to a high number (several weeks?) so as not to be too annoying.
I'll pull this patch in and gather feedback on the font size and we can discuss further if needed. Sending a notification via Echo if past EmphasizeDays days old is a good idea if it's not too much work to implement.

Thanks for confirming the issue with the hook. Yes, those are expected behaviors. The PendingReviews feature of the extension is an upgrade to the functionality of the watchlist to make it easier for the user to review and understand the same info. That's the rationale behind replacing the "Watchlist" link, which is of course still available via special pages.
The display class is to help the link stand out a bit compared to the other links, emphasizing its importance as a daily tool for users to get up to speed on recent edits (i.e. clear out their pending reviews). See the "8 reviews" in the user toolbar below:
