I'm sorry, but users of ancient greek still call their language Ἑλληνική. There isn't a question of wether somebody supports it or not, the name ἀρχαία ἑλληνική is plain and simply wrong.

So... is this change happening or not?

Before saying anything else, I'd like to say that I am pretty unfamiliar coding, so you'll have to excuse me if I do not understand some more technical concepts.

You can see that Ancient Greek is displayed as Ἀρχαία ἑλληνική instead of Ἑλληνική at many places, but here's one:
