Please feel free to change the sizing of any component in your local version of the library. There is no need for this microtask to request to change / access the original file for the Codex library, but you can copy the components from the original Codex Figma library and paste them into their own files. Once the component is in your own file you can edit it or detach the instance and make a new component. For clarity, it would be helpful to denote whenever you modify or create a new component in your file.

Yes you can, that's what's required to submit your contribution. If you mean recording it in the outreachy website, one way you can do that is using maybe google docs and then including your figma file in the document. I hope this helps
