Gerrit: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/core/+/1309751
Hi! I'd like to work on this task. I noticed the existing patch has been inactive for some time, so I'll investigate the review feedback and work on addressing the remaining issues. Thanks!

I've submitted a PR to fix this issue: https://github.com/Tiisu/SourceWiki/pull/50
All hardcoded mock data for countries has been removed. The frontend components now correctly fetch and use dynamic data from the GET /api/countries endpoint via a new CountriesContext, complete with a graceful fallback.

PR created for CI setup: https://github.com/Tiisu/SourceWiki/pull/48
This adds the GitHub Actions CI workflow (installs deps, runs backend tests, and builds frontend) and fixes a few backend test environment issues to ensure the test suite runs successfully on PRs.

I'm working on this task. I'll implement Wikimedia OAuth 2.0 authentication while keeping the existing JWT authentication flow intact.

Hi! I'd like to work on this task. I'll verify the documented endpoints against the implemented routes and update backend/API_DOCUMENTATION.md accordingly

@Yaron_Koren Yes. I verified it locally after updating Timeless to a revision containing the relevant CSS change. The button now renders with a light background and readable text, so this issue appears to be fixed.
Hi! I noticed there's already an open Gerrit patch for this task. Is this change still under review, or is there any additional work needed here? I'd be happy to help if there are follow-up changes required.

I was able to reproduce the issue after updating Timeless to a revision containing commit ea1f421 ("Only style submit buttons as progressive").
Thanks for checking. I don't need anything else from you right now.
I checked my local Timeless installation and found that it differs from the environment in your Docker image.

I've attached the requested CSS outputs from my local installation:
I've submitted a pull request for this:
I traced the issue to WMFNavigationBarHiding, where the top safe area overlay becomes fully transparent and allows content to appear beneath the status bar items. The task description specifically mentions a translucent gradient. Before sending a patch, I wanted to confirm whether a system material blur is acceptable here or if a gradient layer matching the current theme is preferred.
I tested this on my local MediaWiki instance using a mobile viewport (Pixel 7, ~412px width). The grouping icons on Special:Watchlist appear very small and are difficult to distinguish on narrow screens. This seems consistent with the report that the new icons are almost invisible on mobile devices.
I did a hard refresh and also tested in a fresh browser session, so this does not appear to be a caching issue on my side.
My environment matches the versions reported in this task:

I can reproduce the issue in the attached minimal HTML testcase, and it looks the same as the screenshot provided in this task. I implemented the suggested change by prepending oo-ui-layout to $classStr, and verified that the generated <form> element now includes class="oo-ui-layout".
Fixed in Gerrit change https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/DonationInterface/+/1304159
Jun 18 2026
I tested this on MediaWiki 1.45.3 with Timeless 0.9.1 and Page Forms 6.0.8 (ef88eb5), matching the reported versions. I confirmed that the generated button does not include the oo-ui-layout class, but I was not able to reproduce the blue-text-on-blue-background issue locally. The button renders with blue text on a light background and remains readable. Could you share the exact Timeless revision or any additional configuration needed to reproduce the issue?
Submitted a patch to replace the Portuguese translation in es.json with the correct Spanish message for donate_interface-redirect-explanation.
Submitted a patch to improve the visibility of transparent infobox images in dark mode by applying a fixed background to td.infobox-image.
I'd like to investigate this issue and try working on a fix.

Hi! I’m interested in working on this task. I’m a new contributor and would like to take it. Please let me know if it’s still available.
I investigated the current master branch and found that the older DeletedContribsPager::formatRevisionRow() implementation mentioned in the task description no longer exists. The remaining use of <strong> for rev-deleted-user-contribs is in SpecialContributionsLine.mustache.

Hi! I'd like to work on this task. I'm reviewing the previous patches and will investigate the remaining work needed.
I've uploaded a patch for review:
I investigated the task and found that
$wgTestKitchenLoggedInExperimentEventIntakeServiceUrl is currently set to
$wgEventLoggingServiceUri in operations/mediawiki-config
(wmf-config/CommonSettings.php). I'm planning to work on changing it to
/ins-502b/v2/events?hasty=true as described in the acceptance criteria.
I'm interested in working on this task. Could you please point me to the repository or file where LoggedInExperimentEventIntakeServiceUrl is defined?
I implemented an alternative approach where the "Open Wiki" button becomes a centered fixed button near the bottom of the viewport so it remains accessible regardless of scroll position.
