@Base, I don't think Oauth works like that. I think the developer has to assign a home wiki to use for the login process and although they can choose just about anything, in this case Yuvi chose to use Meta. Also I tried to change it as you noted and it still failed with the error pasted above in the description so it appears if you aren't blocked then you probably wouldn't have a problem. If you want to block yourself on Meta and try again you should see what I mean.

I totally understand I just offered that as a possibility but it makes sense that it was used for early adopters. I hadn't realized that.

I really appreciate you folks considering my request. If I may suggest, a lot of apps including Flickrtocommons and Commons Helper among others use Mediawiki as the source wiki. Maybe it could use that since the precedence already exists.

@Magioladitis, @Reedy, @Rjwilmsi This appears to be a duplicate of T102218 but I'm not 100% sure if they are both the same problem. Could someone check and verify if these are ok for merging?

I just wanted to comment that there is a suggestion to allow AWB to be able to pull in lists from Quarry so if that was done, then there would be no need for this because it already exists as a Quarry report.

Since this ticket has been opened since 2015 maybe someone can ping @Jerodlycett on Wiki and ask him if he still wants to pursue this change?

As the author of this request I recommend this request be closed as no consensus for the change.

I think if this is going to happen someone needs to start an RFC or Village pump discussion on EnWP to gather some consensus.

@Reedy and @Magioladitis, I just wanted to follow up on this. Is this possible to do using OAuth? If this isn't something that's possible, then I recommend we close this.

I don't think Quarry uses the OAuth but I could be wrong.

There seems to be a couple different requests all pertaining to this same topic. I recommend these all be merged

Are we using the notepad ++ API for things like the Module builder, the Find and replace features and the like? Because if we are, then notepad ++ has a ton of functionality in it we could be using to do things like a spellchecker and a code line count on the module builder. I don't know what we are using to do those things, I only offer that as a suggestion.

I like the idea of having a Web version of AWB whether it be Java based or something else and there is already a working version so most of the ground work has been put in place by Joey to do just that.
