Per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/General_fixes#Duplicate_Named_References_(DuplicateNamedReferences) "Named references are not condensed if the first declaration is in a template call, because we cannot be sure the template will display all of its parameters (and hence the reference) and do not want to create an undefined reference error"
@Klein what is the separator you proposed to be used for the different fields, and how do we know that character won't be used in the text itself - if I understand what you are asking for it's like an automatic paste into a spreadsheet where a separator character is automatically detected and used to split the fields?
@Tom.Reding is there a discussion showing consensus to change this that you can link to (to avoid queries afterwards)?
@SCEhardt Project welcomes new contributors. For AWB we have no particular standards as to how to use phabricator other than as where tickets get raised. For this ticket I saw mentions of new tickets on the AWB talk page so had a spin through those I agreed were problems and I could resolve.
rev 12537 lay-url is valid cite web parameter
rev 12536 Treat <chem> tags like <math> tags
Jul 6 2021
@GoingBatty Yes, because the named reference is declared in a template call, we can't be sure whether the template will display all of its parameters and hence the reference, so if we condense later calls we could create an undefined reference error. Therefore we don't condense named references if first declaration is in a template call.
rev 12524 more valid cite web params
@GoingBatty For List of cities in Europe by sunshine duration the Tagger code for adding uncategorized requires the page to have more than 6 words outside of templates and comments. As this page is almost entirely a wikitable (which we count as template) then there aren't 6 words, so no uncategorized tagging.

rev 12507 another Unicodify exception
@GoingBatty First two pages have now been deleted. I checked the third and fourth and page versions on/before date this ticket was raised had existing normal categories so wouldn't have needed uncategorized at that time.
@Mclay1 Please link to template/MOS documentation that shows there is consensus that date parameter should be updated.
rev 12506 Tagger: don't add underlinked on en-wiki

rev 12504 Don't subst pagename etc when #ifeq used in article
rev 12502 remove #if DEBUG around UnitTestMode check so that unit tests run clean in Release builds too
The issue as reported has been fixed. @BrownHairedGirl you say "the Turkish uppercase letter is converted to the unaccented Latin uppercase letter." I agree, that was the result of the problem, it's now fixed.
Jul 1 2021
The reason is that to correctly simplify both dog and dog i.e. allowing that first letter of link may be upper or lower case, we turn first letter of both parts of link to lower case. That means that both İ and I become i so are considered the same, which is wrong.

Difficult to resolve this one. The references from templates aren't in the wiki text hence we can't see what ref names they use. The tracking category won't be generated until after the edit is saved.

@NicoV the info here is enough to understand the change wanted, however it needs to be coordinated with an AWB release as we can't make changes to typo list pages until a new AWB release with this change has been rolled out.
First: transcluded section. After a discussion on AWB talk page the page was updated with a template so I assume that's no longer an issue.

The replacement text is the placeholder text used by AWB when comments and image links etc. are hidden before genfixes, or find&replace are applied. Normally of course the original comments and image links are then put back after genfixes, or find&replace has run, this could fail if you have some find&replace settings that alter the placeholders.
