Why is the option of automatically marking source file with nowcommons removed? Now every single file has to be tagged manually? Is that related to this?

I realised this dumb filter could be circumvented by inserting whitespaces. For example, 陳大明 is not allowed but 陳 大 明 is ok. I'm just gonna bypass it this way if I have to.

Well, the problem was not consistent.

begin with a lowercase letter
German nouns are notable exceptions though.
You should probably write a project page/documentation that explains what "#suggestededit-add 1.0" in the summary means, maybe at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Suggestededit-add_1.0 or https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:App for example, and link to it in the summary.

I only know of these three. Please check for others.

Adding depicts statements also adds pages to my watchlist even though I've switched that off for pages I edit in settings.

In languages that use ideograms, e.g. Chinese and Japanese, and Korean with its unique alphabet, five characters are often more than enough. For example, I often upload closeups, which serve as nothing but merely portraits. The context becomes irrelevant since the photos zoom in on them. I want to be as concise as possible so I write down only their names as descriptions.

Small categories can go wrong too. Please read https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=339677898#PAGESINCAT_malfunction? .

So the tentative solution as implemented is to hide the input field for redirects? But when the redirect link is malformed, it would show up. Perhaps the input field should be hidden for all pages without a file.

It freezes at this state. The code I gave was from checking the html.
@Aklapper This is not the same.

Where are we following this bug now? All T208048 T208074 T208077 have been closed as duplicates of one another, but the problem in T208048 still exists. Still not possible to connect https://zh-yue.wikipedia.org/wiki/加冷河 with the sidebar tool.

In the past few months I used CT to convert zhwp articles for around 100 times. I remember there were occasions that CT showed a banner on the top right hand corner, warning me that the translation would activate a certain filter on YUEWP.

Thank you very much for creating this ticket, @Pginer-WMF .
I have just created two community discussions on yuewp and wuuwp, still waiting for response. Activity on ganwp is virtually down to zero.

Quite triky issues found.
See [[:zh-yue:Wikipedia:沙盤]]. Reverting an edit was not possible unless the comment was not given.
I tried editing on another page, leaving comments blank, yet the following error code was shown to me.

@Mvolz Thank you so much for putting it all together! It is working right now. It helps a lot to enable automated referencing. Many thanks to you! And to the Citoid creators and developers as well!
