From what I understand, the goal is to replace the current long list of countries (with 50 and 70 years pma) with a grid layout that displays country flag icons, similar to the Countries and terms page. I’ll make sure the layout maintains consistency with that existing page and omit the copyright term in each box as specified.

I’d like to take this issue. The task seems to involve prefilling the Nationality and Country of origin filters when viewing a country’s page, and showing the “Advanced filters” section by default I’ll look into how those filters are currently handled on the main page and adjust the country page logic accordingly.
