As for point 3, I didn't intend to say that we need lazy loading script. Actually, I was referring to the current workflow. I have removed that section so that there is no ambiguity.
If still there are any changes that you suggest I'll be happy to incorporate them.

Hi, sorry to bother again. But, I am still not able to get the developers account. The link on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Developer_account to signup for Wikimedia developer account as it is showing permission denied. Can you please tell a way to get one?

Hello @kostajh @Catrope, I have certain doubts regarding the project

1. Along with making live updates on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Notifications similar to that in Special:RecentChanges do we need to make the counter of notifications change itself using polling mechanism as mentioned in the discussion?
   
2. The user should be notified of any notification on any page not just only on the notification page (Writing the code and user preference to temporarily display the notification text using the mw.notify() library)

Hi @kostajh @Catrope, I am a sophomore at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. I have a good experience in Javascript, React, Python, Django(python), PHP, Yii2(PHP framework). I have been contributing to various projects of WikiMedia for some time such as WikiEduDashboard and MediaWiki Action API and have got some PR's merged. I recently came across the project idea and will like to contribute to this project either in GSoC 19 or apart from GSoC 19 would be fine too. I have already started working on the microtasks and will soon add patches for review once I get the developer's account.

I am a bit unclear as what needs to be done for the first point Replace uses of the ext.echo.badgeicons module with oojs-ui.styles.icons-alerts.
On using grep I can only find two places where this module has been used i.e. in /includes/EchoHooks.php and /includes/special/SpecialNotifications.php.
Do I need to change only those statements for this task?

I would like to know if there should be a different modules.json for javascript as in current modules,json the filename parameter, which is used to name the generated files, has .py extension in all the instances or it should to be taken care explicitly when generating the js files.
