@Niharika - I know we're talking soon, but I wanted to provide some examples re: category depth/sub-category topic.

@Trizek-WMF Nope, it's all done :)

@Niharika - Yep, this was a real thing :) Almost everyone I talked to at WMCON who hadn't tried the tool before asked me how they could add a bunch of usernames at once, and asked for the CSV upload function because they didn't know they could copy paste a whole bunch of them directly in.
@MusikAnimal - Thanks for listing out these possibilities. @Niharika has a good point that if you have the same project a bunch of times, it becomes confusing. Just so you both know, here's what happened with the Women in Red example: one of the lead organizers was shocked when someone already had the program name, and instead of creating their own, they wanted to know who had it so they could add on. It was an interesting reaction that I hadn't anticipated.
@MusikAnimal - I just took a look and couldn't find any more. I think we saw one other when we were sitting together in Berlin, but seems like that's fixed!

I love this idea. Though I might need some clarification about what a staging tool does.
Sorry for not responding earlier - I was out at training last week. Since I have carpal-tunnel I can't type a bunch, so let's talk about this at our meeting on Thursday :)

@bd808 The small/medium/large information is used to award scholarships. We allocate a certain number of scholarships to each category, and pick the top X in that category. So having that list of "which language communities are small/med/large" is super important, but the list we use right now is really out of date. I believe right now we are using stats from 2015.

@Aklapper: Ack I didn't see that option. Thanks for the tip!

@egalvezwmf Based on our discussion, I thought I was creating the messaging, not the actual sampling strategy. Can you clarify?

Just a few more text changes, after discussion with the Scholarship Committee:
Nov 25 2015
Update this question in the type of scholarship section (I've changed the text so it fits the question options):
Nov 19 2015
@NiharikaKohli Apologies, that was mistakenly included as that was where legal has access to review. The text about sending data to chapter belongs in the "Type of Scholarship" section in T116212: Update scholarships questions.
Nov 16 2015
Updated the text of the chapter agreement, after feedback from legal.

@bd808 I've created a new task T116115: Create new export / report for full applications that is a new report for the full applications. I wonder if that could solve this issue.
@bd808 I'm wondering what information this query returns. The full application for all applicants? who pass Phase 1 and agree to a chapter scholarship?

@Ottomata, ultimately I'm simply assisting Winifred Olliff and Katy Love with obtaining this data for them to perform analysis. Perhaps if Joady hasn't gotten back to you on my NDA, you could simply set them up with access? They are the Program Officers for the APG program, and have been handling this data for the last few years; so I'm sure their NDA is fine.

@NiharikaKohli Sounds great. We had an email come through the Wikimania scholarships email address from an applicant that contributed to Sakha, but couldn't find it in the drop down menu. We'll reach back out to them once the patch is through.
@NiharikaKohli Thanks for putting this patch through. Looking at the "List of Wikipedias" tab in that google doc, it looks like the language code for Sanskrit is actually SA, rather than SAH.

@NiharikaKohli Actually, I just took a look in the review system, and it seems like the projects are coming into the "Primary" label. So might be easier to just change the "Primary" label to "Main Wiki Project" and remove the currently unused "Main Wiki Project" field.
@NiharikaKohli Removing the "Primary" and just putting the primary project into the "Main Wiki Project" makes complete sense. Thanks for checking first!

@NiharikaKohli I agree!
@NiharikaKohli Apologies, I meant to move it in the review system. However, looking back now I don't think this is very valuable, so please ignore this change :)

@bd808 @NiharikaKohli Just FYI, I just submitted two changes to the application (relatively small though) that came through from Siko and Ellie.
Ah, thanks for the explanation!
@NiharikaKohli If we're going to put it into the "Participation" section, then it should come before the long-form answers.
Jan 8 2015
@NiharikaKohli @bd808 Looking at the original description, there supposed to be a section for setting the review phase, but I see that's not part of the "Settings" today. Was this declined/de-prioritized?
@NiharikaKohli Please move this to before "Interest & Involvement in Wikimania" section.
Jan 7 2015
@bd808 That's a great point - I hadn't thought about in-country residents.

@NiharikaKohli As discussed last week, can we have this report do one of the following (not sure which is easier):
- Only show those who have passed Phase 1
- If showing both those who passed/failed Phase 1, sort to show those who passed Phase 1 first.
