Yay, I now see Literature Online, ProQuest Central (1970 - current), ProQuest Historical Newspapers: Chinese Newspapers Collection (1832 - 1953), and ProQuest Historical Newspapers: The New York Times (1851 - 2021) again, in addition to Education Research Index (1966 - current)!

It seems to be working for me? (I'm logged into my account that I activated with the TWL application, and not using the proxy.)

This would be bearable if I could just copy-paste my changes, but doing so with citation templates often does nothing or even puts the page in an error state, so that publishing my changes or switching modes causes a "Parsoid error" with Uncaught TypeError: content.parts is undefined in the Developer Tools console (in fact, content is an empty object, Object { }); this is probably related to T104230 and T279215. As a result, I have to manually re-create each template, tediously enabling and copy-pasting each field with data, and hope I don't accidentally get impatient and make my VE edit state corrupt or something. I'm now experimenting with copy-pasting the fields into source mode to see if that's at least slightly easier, or at least more error-resilient...

I often make long, complex edits, such as going through and fixing a bunch of dead links on a page, each of which can often require some in-depth research depending on the link, and as a college student, I often have to get to my next class or some activity or whatever in the middle of making an edit, and then I sometimes forget to come back and finish it until a few days later, so this affects me a lot. I guess I could save my edit with the sources I've finished so far, and then come back and finish the rest later, but my perfectionism objects to that, and it makes me feel like I'm gaming my edit count or something, but I'm open to being convinced otherwise.

It's currently working for me. Has it been fixed, or is there some key difference between how you and I are accessing it?

I was having issues with searching (I saw the error 429 Too Many Requests in DevTools), but creating an account and copying the cookies fixed it!

In T117279: [EPIC] Core should provide inline diffs as well as side by side (Move InlineDifferenceEngine into core / remove MobileDiff), I posted an example of how bad this can get in MobileDiff:

Consider hiding or surfacing side by side diffs in mobile

Yeah, I've made a bunch of attempts at reproducing it on my user talk page (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Sollyucko/sandbox&action=history) while recording my screen, but couldn't reproduce it either... The new edit simply overwrote the old edit, which is good enough, since everything gets saved in the edit history.

I have noticed something that might be related: If I copy a reference and then paste it, it refers to the same entry in the reference list. But if I drag-and-drop another reference in between copying and pasting, it creates a new entry each time I paste.

P.S. I'm not sure what level it happens at, since some of the usages of the same references are correct. Also, note that I mostly tried to keep the references sorted by number, but there are some places where I intentionally chose a different ordering, to roughly match up with the order the statements are in the text.
