@Xqt, I have made the necessary changes in code for this task, however I am unable to verify it as I cannot find any method of sending the code for system testing. Any idea on that?

I've added a system exit to halt the code once the exception is raised to prevent it from the infinite wait loop. @Xqt does the patch look good now?

I've made the changes and here's the screenshot. Although raising an import error inside the fetch call doesn't terminate it and the caller of the fetch function keeps retrying as per the wait logic written inside PyWikiBot
