@Urbanecm , thank you for the details. I thought it was just a simple change to make. This is unfortunate.
@Urbanecm, any update?

I must say - as a volunteer - that I don't really like being pinged as you did.

Yes.
If so, the solution you'd like to see is that adding the person to the muted list would automatically make all previous notifications from that user as read or deleted or otherwise removed from your notifications. Is that correct?
Yes.
A warning should be added to preferences, though, to avoid unexpected surprises.

This is still annoying since there is no proper way to hack this.

I thought I had time to work on it when I created the task, but I realistically can't work on it any time soon. If I can join a sprint (ideally a hackathon) around LL, I would be happy to reclaim it.
Fin du test.

Bonjour from Bruxelles !
I'll give my eternal reconnaissance as a community member to whoever achieves that task. This is something we miss since a while on French Wikipedia.

Great feature. <3

We are Friday and that deployment is not an urgent one. After discussion with releng, we have decided to abandon it.
Thank you @Aklapper!

Your version wasn't in this task. :)
Accessibility is also about devices. The desktop view has 7 blocks, the mobile view only has 3 blocks.
(Sorry, I4ve been off and very busy the last days.)
In T215031#4921388, @Eric_Luth_WMSE wrote:@Trizek That's a great comment. My initial reaction would be that the translation recommendations available on Meta, given that they will work also on the Wikimania wiki (?), at least partly will solve the problem? I'm not an expert on how that works, so please tell me if I'm wrong. But a text matching 100% should presumably, I suppose, be a text that hasn't changed since last year? Would it be possible to have a bot run through all texts that match 100%, leaving translations to be made manually for the rest?
You mean importing things from Meta? We can import any content that has English as source and some translations. In my mind, the goal of keeping translations from previous Wikimania wikis is to spare a long translation work for translators.
Are those moving elements accessible?
We have an issue we need to carefully take care of by design: translatability (for internationalization) and sustainability around i18n. I've been thinking about how to organize the contents with a “Year/Pagename” system combined with Extension:Translate. It is not really matching I'm afraid.
I'm just making public what I've explained to Eric when I volunteered. :)
In T214704#4916708, @Billinghurst wrote:I would suggest that any admin rights can be managed through this ticket for the foreseeable future [...]
Excellent idea. As I can work on translations, I'm looking for translation admin rights (I have them on Meta). If possible, I would request sysop rights, which is always convenient to have when you work on translations (I have those rights on fr.wp).
@Base, can you change the wording please? Have that Phab task is a bit disturbing. :)
It is normal to have the phab ID in the diffs for edits made with that tag? https://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ex-Mattatoio_de_Rome&oldid=156081838
Thank you @Reedy
Thanks @Legoktm. The stress is both caused by the colour and the message: "You have to act NOW" is my perception of it.
Can I have that preference back, or, at least, a way to ignore that orange bar on all wikis simply? I've appreciated that preference very much, because the orange bar is stressful to me. It requires immediate attention, while I prefer to have talk pages notices hidden behind a more discreet red alarm icon.

Also note that, if you click a notification badge (even if it doesn't have a number on it), it'll open up an up-to-date list of notifications. That list refreshes every time you open it.

De-assigning Andre, while they are pleinty of Phab admins who can do that. :)
Don't you think it can be co-funded by a WMF grant? That may help people to some (scholarships).

It didn't happen.
Ability to edit Wikidata from WP and other projects is the 12th result on the community wishlist survey, the first concerning Wikidata.
Ping @Pyb who was in charge of coordinating that project.
Removing myself: not time to explore documentation and move forward. I may have time in a close future to tackle that, but I prefer to give the opportunity to someone else to be more efficient about that.
I've just deleted a Flow Topic and blocked a user for harassment with my volunteer account. Now, I can be accused of harassment by an other sysop because there is no proof of my actions: Special:DeletedContributions is blank for the blocked user.
T90852: Create a system to store and query links to books may be related.

WLM is finished.
Yes, similar issue concerning the deleted translation. This issue seems fixed : I've translated a new text, and it is still available (but not my old one).
