I am not able to move forward with this work, because other research has been prioritized for me. That said this tagging work would be a beneficial thing to do in future if and when we run a survey about mobile contribution in several languages. If / when that work is prioritized we can re open this ticket, or create another one. Would be a shame to loose the conversation here, but since backlogs easier to function in when cleared, we can have the conversation again when the work is re prioritized. Feel free to close the task, or do whatever you need to with it.

Thank you for the edit samples, @Neil_P._Quinn_WMF. They are just what we needed. No worries about the username and page title not being in the list. We can see that in the edit itself, and don't need it to be part of the higher level info.

Neil and I talked, and we agreed that he will provide the edit samples by the end of day (pacific time) Tuesday, October 30th. Thank you Neil!!!

@Neil_P._Quinn_WMF After a few conversations, and some thinking, I think pulling 200 random mobile edits from these wikis (English, Korean, Czech, Hindi and French) will be sufficient for this project.

@Neil_P._Quinn_WMF, Great to hear you can do the first two. I wrote up a draft recruitment strategy (the third bullet) and have shared it with you. We can spend a few mins of our next 1:1. I think you are correct that the data on mobile contribution rates will inform this recruitment strategy. :)
@Trizek-WMF Thank you for the questions.

Timing for this is not quite clear yet. I have requested that one of the product analysts pull the randomly selected mobile edits from each of the Wikis, but do not know their timelines yet. I will update here when I know more. Let me know if you have questions or anything in the meantime.

There are definitely ways to integrate best practices for good usability into how software, and extensions are built. I know little about coding, but a lot about how to best design software for humans to more easily interact with and use. I could advise, and perhaps collaborate (time permitting) with others if it would help.

@MNovotny_WMF Please feel free to edit the description, and add tags / people / and iterate this ticket. I think you might be building your own Phab project, so please add the project to this ticket, or create a new ticket and merge... - I looked around but not sure it is created your board yet. Just wanted to get this in the DR "in Progress" board. Welcome to Phabricator!
