Thanks @jijiki! If there is anything we can do to continue helping to resolve this, please feel free to ping us tomorrow. Our target date is 9/21 and so we are certainly in high priority mode :)

In order to mitigate significant variance on the client-side generated timestamps, could we establish a beacon that could generate server-generated timestamps in coordination with the device-initiated burst requests? It might be much safer to use the server as the source of truth.

@Jgiannelos Are these fonts covering all unicode and multi-lingual characters or is the scope of this just for English alphanumeric characters?
Besides leveraging this whitelist of countries, I vaguely remember us talking about a list of countries that we for sure will not implement this functionality in. Although a whitelist is seen as something that implicitly defines the converse, does such a list of suggested countries of exclusion exist as well?
@Mholloway, without us knowing when the fixed package will be released, will this hold up the project indefinitely. There seems to be a lack of guidance on this matter amongst the broader community besides following Apple's recommendation of installing it direction from the GeoTrust website. I remember Alexandros was not in favor of this (nor of doing these types of installations from generic sources). But what is the workaround?

Hello @daniel ! Thank you for bringing the package manager aspect of the conversation back into proper light as it is indeed a core focus of the Search Component case study. You are certainly correct in the assessment that an approach allowing unaudited packages and their dependencies to be automatically downloaded would be problematic. This understanding is certainly shared and to be clear - there are no circumstances where we would be entertaining an insecure, unaudited approach.

Thank you so much for openly sharing your collective perspectives within the Vue.js Development Workflow RFC [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T199004]. It provided a plethora of wonderful discussions and thoroughly spoke to the level of passion and importance we place on everything we do here at the Foundation every day!

Good point @kostajh, thanks! I've seen it both ways and always assumed 'Thea' was the anglicized version of 'Theia' (Both spellings I do very much like). I've seen it consistently in literature as 'Theia' but have no issues with it spelled as 'Thea' :) Doesn't take away from the meaning.
"Theia" (or Thea)
