Project description: Thumbor – is a smart imaging service that enables on-demand cropping, resizing, applying filters and optimizing images. WMF team wrote a custom application to modify Thumbor functionality for their own needs, that has to be updated to a newer version. Software is written in Python. Wikimedia Thumbor used a community tool (Thumbor Community Core) to provide modifications as extensions to the Thumbor tool. In order to update Wikimedia Thumbor, we will need to:

1. Delete dependency of the Thumbor Community Core
2. Update Wikimedia Thumbor to Python 3 and Thumbor 7
3. Provide Dockerization and migration to Kubernetes
