WMF Legal has notified me that we didn't get the following change on the application form. they updated the privacy statement. These need to be made ASAP. Sorry we didn't catch this sooner. here's the email/what needs to be done:

Niharika and Bryan Davis are committed to helping with the revising the application again this year. I also have changes from Legal (privacy statement portion) ; probably one more question (coming end of this week); and updating dates and some boilerplate language, and possibly deleting the question about presentation. How best to make sure all of these additions/changes get done and are checked?

I'm not sure what I'm being asked. I would like to be able when we start the new round of submissions for scholarships that it begins with another number, like 01, so that I can easily tell when we close submissions how many applications we received. As Bryan says it's no trivial thing apparently... Right now it's just annoying to have to do the count manually to figure out how many applications we received. I wouldn't invest a lot of time into this.... Nice to have. There are other items that are more pressing I think!

This was supposed to be something that our Volunteer team was going to handle as always for Wikimania. For some reason they didn't give me a heads up about hosting. I'm trying to get 1K people and everything else settled this week, so I cannot be involved at this level. I thought I had added him on the original request. I've tried adding as a subscriber to no avail:

I think it would be terrific to to combine/have one but is this extra work? Usually we just create a single one each year.... Whatever you think would work best. We need to get this done asap so the folks can announce/put up the conference wiki in the next couple of weeks for 2018.... Thanks, ellie
