intgr added a comment to T6714: Epic: Increasing the length of the edit summary.

This has became a significantly larger issue for me now that IPv6 is becoming more prevalent. When reverting an edit, English Wikipedia adds some boilerplate and stores the IP address 3 times in the edit summary:
