Hi @egalvezwmf ! I left a number of comments on the planning doc. I need to have clarity around the following things:
- how many languages are we working with? you mentioned 10, but there are 11 languages specified.
- what tasks you need volunteer translators for?
- what purpose does the glossary serve?
- who will be creating the glossary?
- when do you need the glossary by?

I found a template I forgot I had: Stackable cards, which works really well and has variables that allow you to format and style in the way you prefer. It also works better on mobile.

@Aklapper good point, I'm sorry I didn't clarify.
@mmodell I couldn't see the button to create a new project here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/ But I can see it now!
Thanks for the help!

Hi, I used to be a project owner, and now it seems those rights were removed. I need to create projects for my workflows, can I please have my project owner rights back? Thanks!

Hi @Qgil ! Thank you for sending the questions my way, and for adding the right tag.
This work started before I left with some more casual advice and set up of context for development (I had to create a few templates on outreach wiki, etc). Now the more hands-on work starts next week on Monday. During that meeting, I'll make sure to document the responses to these questions, share them here, along with the comms plan (the questions and the comms plan actually summon very similar information, in my view).

We could really use use cases for academic posters, so we can point people to wiki pages in a simpler way.
Slides and presentation are another use case.

Thank you, Greg! I really appreciate all the help, and how fast you solved this =)
Hi @MarcoAurelio sorry for the late response. This was on Meta-Wiki, I believe. I haven't tried the tool recently, this was at the end of February, beginning of March.

Hi @Nikerabbit ! I was wondering if you could take a look at this ticket and work on the notify translators tool? At the moment, it sends 4 messages to each translator, for every message you send. Since we are working on the second iteration of Wikimedia communities and contributors survey, and we need to have some messages translated for the launch. It would be great to be able to use this tool for that.

When writing your piece, consider the blog guidelines, documented by Ed Erhart, that have very good information and examples on what to do and what to avoid. Specially good resource for first-time writers =)

Hi @MarcoAurelio , thanks for raising your concerns with this procedure. As @Mattflaschen-WMF explains, this extension does not impact default user experience. I requested this extension be enabled on Meta Wikimedia because I am working on a new hub there, called the Wikimedia Resource Center. This hub seeks to improve findability of resources on Meta; we are starting with resources developed by the Wikimedia Foundation, but it will soon include community developed resources as well. This hub has a different navigation, and resources are grouped following a specific criteria. Guided Tours would help Wikimedians who use it understand how to navigate the site better. You can see a prototype here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:MCruz_(WMF)/Sandbox/WRC
