I just went through some records, and I don't see the promised error message (T397244#11090876) in any logs I can see. So I now suspect (but can't tell, because all related code, along with the blacklist itself and the main Phabricator task, is private) that it was never implemented. If that's true, then this is indeed a duplicate of T397244. But I'll leave this open, because (since everything's private) I have no way to actually confirm that it's a duplicate.

I see, thanks!
Is this related to these tables not showing up in the Toolforge/WMCS replicas?

This does not seem to be unique to zhwiki: I am an enwiki account creator, and yet:

Done.

They appear to be separately handled in the backend code too, it just took longer to find...

Per T383502#10451198
I looked at the source code to see if you were correct.
- You merged into the wrong bug.
- The difference seems pretty important!
- I doubt you know for sure that this is *the same* bug.
Stop.
I think it's distinct: this bug is when you go to the implementation page after a testcase is deleted, the other is when you go to the testcase page after the implementation is deleted.

Bumping priority per above. Based on timing, it's probably something from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_1.44/wmf.11#UploadWizard. Maybe something from T381286 or T370106, maybe something else?

This seems to still be a problem: my emails (10:38am and 11:50am today, US Eastern Time) got seemed to get lost on the first two attempts. On the third attempt (1:34pm), where I sent to both emergency@ and ca@, it finally went through. Per the response, it appears these emails were not in the spam folder.

I doubt this is needed currently. Do you have any objects in mind that would have benefitted from this?

I also applied changes to Template:Cc-by-sa-layout, Template:Cc-by-layout, Template:Cc-by-sa-layout/styles.css, and MediaWiki:Filepage.css. These should remove almost all of the templatelinks to Template:Cc-by-sa-layout/styles.css: just under 70 million.

This would still be useful for me. In the past I believe I've written some SQL for this to run on the replicas, but I just discovered that, due to T375751, that workaround is no longer possible.

Noting that I applied a change to Module:Core. Previously, links to edit Wikidata statements were external; I converted them to internal.
5 and 6 are better now too -- I just undeleted and they were fine (both viewing the file when deleted and after undeleting). Maybe it was a caching issue?

Whatever this was caused by, it seems to have resolved: the file has been moved to the new title successfully.

Just processed those edit requests.

I think this is related:
ERROR: TjfCliError: The jobs service seems to be down – please retry in a few minutes. ERROR: Please report this issue to the Toolforge admins if it persists: https://w.wiki/6Zuu
Aug 23 2024
FYI: log entries with an associated VRTS ticket seem to be misformatted: see e.g. https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&logid=57074693. I presume there should be a number there (not XXXXXXXXX), and the link format should be more like that which would be produced by printf("per :m:Right to vanish and ticket %s", ticketNumStr, ticketNumStr) (not printf("per m:Right_to_vanishandticket:ticket:%s", "XXXXXXXXX"))

I was just able to reproduce something related, but the output was slightly different, and the config file seems intact. See P67493.

@Marostegui Given that the issue has been identified (and only trusted users have/had the higher rate limits), can this be made public again?

Ran into this issue again. I'll have a go at this.

Totally forgot about this task, but I did this a while ago.

Just found T298672, which this is a duplicate of.
Aug 6 2024
In that case, I'm not interested. Thanks for looking!

This is still happening as of now. In case it helps to have a second log entry, here you go: [345c9f98-01ab-4ba9-b82b-21e2bd831c42] 2024-06-14 23:35:14: Fatal exception of type "Wikimedia\Rdbms\DBQueryError".

This tool doesn't do what I thought it did/what the name implies: it ran UserRightsBot (which I took over a while ago) and some sort of image hashing bot that calls https://eatchabot.toolforge.org/image_hash/api?url=($URL) but doesn't seem to have any functionality. There is a "video" directory, but it only contains a venv. I have therefore disabled both cron jobs without replacement.

All done, seems to be working.
All done and seems to be working.
LGTM.

This should be all set now, but leaving this open for verification.

Acknowledging that this is happening. I will have the time to migrate in the next month or so, but probably not before the 14th.

This is actually NOT done completely, the category removal job still needs to be migrated. I will likely have time to get around to it in the next month or so.

I have (belatedly) fulfilled the edit request.

@Stang I'm fairly new to phab, what does "stalled" mean and what needs to happen for something to be un-stalled?

This should be a link to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Help:Wikifunctions/User_rights (defined by the wikilambda-users-help-link message (live)), with the label from the wikilambda-special-edit-function-definition-special-permission-link-label message (live). The wikilambda-special-edit-function-definition-description message (live) also appears relevant.

externallinks:
Are we talking about (template|module)-generated links, or user-generated links? If the former, which templates are causing them?
