Hi (hopefully I am asking this in the right place and way). I would like to ask you to whitelist a new SVG namespace in https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:UploadBase.php
[[https://inkstitch.org/ | Inkstitch]] is a Inkscape extension to create embroidery files and it uses a namespace
xmlns:inkstitch="http://inkstitch.org/namespace"
I would like to publish such files in my Mediawikis without having to hack https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:UploadBase.php. I expect that people also would like to publish embroidery files in Wikimedia Commons.
Example file on a mediawiki (with UploadBase modified)
https://edutechwiki.unige.ch/en/File:MediaWiki_logo_reworked_5.svg
https://edutechwiki.unige.ch/en/InkStitch_-_embroidery_logos
Plan for wikimedia (for now I just could upload a picture)

Discussion in the InkStitch github

PS/Update: Some InkStitch files can be uploaded to MediaWikis since for now InkStitch barely uses SVG namespaces. An example is [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Machine_embroidery#Update_June_2018_-_Ink/Stitch | here ]]. But that will change in the future, i.e. all annotations (SVG attributes) will be namespaced.
