Donor Portal: Change Payment Type Flow - Enabling recurring donation supporters to change their payment type is a requirement of the donor portal - Based on existing launch timelines, FR-Tech recommends launching this functionality as a phase 2 feature - it is complex to implement and will require changes in our payments stack [more notes here]. - In the meantime, we suggest implementing a manual workaround - it could look something like this: - On the portal home page, we’d add a link to “edit” next to “credit card: visa” - This would open up a modal with copy along the lines of: - “Coming soon: we are working on enabling changing your payment details in the donor portal directly.
