As discussed in {T261408}, there are various parameters that we want to be able to control via on-wiki configuration. We have [[https://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:NewcomerTasks.json|MediaWiki:NewcomerTasks.json]] which allows for on-wiki configuration to override the default configuration provided by GrowthExperiments extension.json; this seems like a good place to add task specific configuration for the new suggested links task type. We can use this task to keep track of configuration as it is added (by updating the task description), or use subtasks, or just tag this task with patches that relate to this requirement.
