As a Wikipedia editor when I add references I can refer to different pages of the same work in an efficient way so that I don’t need to type out the whole name of the work each time I want to refer to it.
See https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Umfragen/Technische_W%C3%BCnsche/Top_20#Erweiterung_der_Einzelnachweise.2C_so_dass_bei_verschiedenen_Seiten_desselben_Werks_nicht_immer_das_gesamte_Werk_angegeben_werden_muss (in German).
**Further details:**
Use Case 1: Referring to different pages of the same work in one article
** Adding a "page"parameter to the <ref>-Extension
Use Case 2: Referring to the same work in many articles
** Groundwork will be done via Wikidata, additional Lua-integration to be considered
** See also template [Vorlage:rp](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorlage:Rp) and template [Vorlage:BibRecord](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorlage:BibRecord)
