The local chapter (WM-CL), will host an edit-a-thon event at Santiago on September, 4th 2015 (Workshop), and September, 5th (Edit-a-thon).
This event will include a Wikipedia editing workshop and an Edit-a-thon, with editors working together to learn or improve their editing skills, and then to create or improve articles related to the Spaniard Republican Exile in Chile, primaraly in Spanish Wikipedia.
We are expecting about 30 people to attend. One of the things we'd like to do is encourage potential newbie participants to create their own accounts during the session and learn editing, guided by some active editors.
