There is grammatical gender in Polish (and a number of other languages) and there is no easy way to address both women and men (well, there is, but it looks awkward). There's a couple of statements that would need {{GENDER}} support in order to look good and natural in translation.
Say, in the case of [[https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Wikimedia:Wikiedudashboard-dashboard.no courses student/pl]], ideally I would translate it as:
Wygląda na to, że nie {{GENDER:$1|zapisałeś|zapisałaś}} się jeszcze na żaden kurs.
