All WiKit next components used on [[ https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:NewLexeme | Special:NewLexeme ]] need to be replaced by Codex elements in order to unblock the deprecation of the legacy WMDE design system.
**Problem:**
We need to find out how feasible it would be to replace WiKit next components with Codex elements on MediaWiki.
**Questions to answer**
In order to create a technical plan, we must answer the following questions:
* Do we need to change anything so that we can use Codex in this environment?
* If so, what steps need to be taken?
* What is the level of effort required to use Codex components on MediaWiki?
* What are the blockers and constraints?
**Acceptance criteria:**
[ ] we are able to assess the feasibility of replacing WiKit components by their Codex equivalents in the context of the core Special:NewLexeme page
[ ] we have a technical plan for the migration
