This is a followup on http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5689 An error during a Special:Import of several pages/revisions leaves any good revisions in the data base that had been read before the error war detected. This is imho allright, yet the Error Message: "Import failed: ...(probably for some reason)..." appears to be misleading or too terse. Suggestion 1: Add a message: "# pages / # revisions successfully imported." before the error message. Suggestion 2: For each page/revision, once it has been successfully imported, display a line resembing the corresponding entry of the page history. So effectively a content list of the xml records is produced.
