In this session, we'll explore language tools that support Wikimedia sites such as Content/Section Translation and Translatewiki. Discover how these tools support communities in their translation and localisation efforts. Furthermore, we'll provide insights into how various language editions are utilizing these tools to enhance their content growth within their respective communities. Participants will be expected to learn by doing and practically get to use these tools themselves. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the language tools and how these tools can facilitate translation, internationalization and localization efforts. Led by WMF staff involved in the Language and Product Localisation team’s work and volunteers, join us as we delve into the world of language tools and discuss ways to enhance language onboarding. Join us. # Hands-on session guide ## Translation suggestion practice session ### Adding the page collection tags - Identify 2-3 campaign organisers in the room. - Have them add the page collection tag to the already prepared or identified article list. ### Choosing translation articles from the "…more" suggestion category - Attendees should first select their language pair. - Select five filter categories you will want people to translate from (1 from "Collection", two from "Region" and two from "Topic") - Let them choose the filter category of their interest from the selected five filter categories. - Group them based on their chosen selection above. - Guide  them to select an article from the narrowed filter based on the following considerations: -- Length of article (any article suggestion marked "quick translation" indicates that the translation is short; translators can also see the estimated translation time for an article) -- Number of sections to be translated ###Translating selected content - Guide attendants through using the different options to translate: -- How to translate using a selected machine translation option -- How to translate using the blank column option -- How to translate using the copy original text option
