While the interface is being translated in a user friendly and convenient system through T#translatewikii.net, partner and collection descriptions can't be handled in the same way because they don't live on Github, partner and collection descriptions are going to become a real time sink to maintainthey're held in the platform's database and therefore aren't visible in the codebase.
The system we've set up so far is a Google Doc for each language with the text to translate. This means if we want to add or change any descriptions we need to update that text across as many documents as we have languages.
It seems like descriptions can't be added to the Translatewiki process because they're a) long and b) held in the database, but it would be good to investigate if there's some way to do sobest solution is likely to be following the #education-program-dashboard's model of hosting that text on Meta and utilising Meta's translation features, or some kind of improved systempulling the text in to the platform on a regular basis.
