When deciding what to translate, users prefer topics of their interest or in their knowledge area.
We can consider providing some control on the kind of suggestions provided. Some ideas we have considered:
- A predefined set of top-level topic categories (the example below uses the ones from [[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Vital_articles | vital articles list ]]).
- A user-selected category (probably as a search option behind a "more" menu as the one in the example below).
- A map-based representation to filter suggestions near a given location (using an approximation of the current location as default).
We need to be careful not to add too much complexity, so it may be better to observe how well the automatic suggestion mechanisms work in practice first.
