As part of the work to allow multiple users to translate the same topic (T86151), we want to let users explore the translations started by other users. In this way users can make an informed decision on whether to start a new translation for the topic, or continue an existing effort.
The general idea:
- Show a note explaining that the content displayed is an inprogress translation by another user (with access to the user page), the date when the translation was started.
-- the "— The original content changed significantly" label will be added only when the latest version of the article cannot be loaded.
- Show source and target contents in a red-only mode.
- Provide a list of existing versions for users to navigate through. For each in-progress translation, the user will see the author name, the time since it was started (in days or months), and a progress bar indicating how much of the source article was translated.
- Options for starting the translation from scratch will be provided.
- The text about terms of use and license is the standard one shown in the "new translation"dialog, which needs to be updated in both places (T214673).
