This task represents the work associated with figuring out which wikis we will work most closely with on the [Talk pages project](https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk_pages_project/Updates#All_Talk%3F_The_effects_of_easier_communication_interfaces_%28than_user_talk_pages%29_on_collaborative_production). We are calling these wikis "target wikis." === Purpose === Our primary goals for working with what we're calling "target wikis" is to be surprised. More specifically, to learn things we didn't even think to ask or consider. "Things" like: - Uncovering edge cases the team had not designed for - Ideas for how a feature could be designed based on communities' past efforts - etc. === Selection criteria === //Below is a living list of criteria we will use to identify potential target wikis// Wikis that: - Have someone who we can work directly with to help "host" conversations on their "home" projects - Have a relatively large number of contributors using article and user talk pages (assumption: more usage volume predicts contributors using talk pages in greater number of ways) -- Number of distinct contributors, by experience level, using article and user talk pages each month (trend over time) -- Number of contributions, by experience level, to article and user talk pages each month (trend over time) - Have a range of contributors using them along qualities like: -- Language --- e.g. RTL and LTR; Latin and non-Latin script -- Experience level --- e.g. talk page contributors by edit count === Done === - [ ] Publish a list of wikis we will be working most closely with to the Talk pages [main project](https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk_pages_projec) and [/Updates](https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk_pages_project/Updates#) MediaWiki pages.
