**Feature summary**: Displaying trails that are relations of relations in OpenStreetMap **Use case(s)**: Many long-distance trails (e.g., Pacific Crest Trail, Kungsleden) in OpenStreetMap are divided into multiple stages. Currently, when a trail that is divided in different sections is linked to Wikidata, it does not display in Kartographer. Since trails are referenced via a single Wikidata entry, we would need to create a separate Wikidata entry for every stage. This approach is problematic for both OpenStreetMap and Wikidata, as these stages are conceptual rather than concrete real-world features. Moreover, their segmentation is often inconsistent. For example, Kungsleden is divided into distinct hut-to-hut sections for the first 100 km (Abisko to Vakkotavare), while the remaining 340 km is treated as a single stage. **Benefits**: This would be an easy way to be able to add trails to every Wikivoyage map for hiking trails. The only other alternative at the moment that I see would be to merge all of the stages in OpenStreetMap. It would be great to have a discussion around this!
