**Project Name:** pipelinelib-experimental **Wikitech Usernames of requestors:** @dduvall, @thcipriani **Purpose:** Release Engineering wants to run a variety of experiments around MediaWiki containerization and different container image building technologies. It would be very helpful to have a project in which to conduct experiments so we can better prove/disprove our ideas. **Brief description:** Much of the MediaWiki containerization work is outlined in T259817#6395133 and subtasks of {T260828}. I also expect to spin up 4-5 instances of [[ https://github.com/moby/buildkit#starting-the-buildkitd-daemon | buildkitd ]] and make them available to some experimental CI jobs. We may also want to move the experimental Docker registry out of the integration project and into this new one. **How soon you are hoping this can be fulfilled:** Preferably by next week as we'll be having our team offsite and this could help us in our PipelineLib related hacking sessions.
