* Track: Deploying and Hosting
* Topic: Quo Vadis Beta Cluster? Towards production-like testing and staging environments
=Description=
So called "beta" and "test" sites are commonly used as testing and staging environment for code changes before these land in production. Both have a problem that they often lack in being "close enough" to production sites, in terms of site configuration, extensions enabled, site content, etc. "Beta" sites have additionally the problem of being hosted on separate, de facto not maintained, infrastructure, not meant for production-like site. In this session we'll look at issues and shortcomings of the current infrastructure, and will look into what needs and wishes we would have for the future pre-production infrastructure
