There seems to be some issues with the way how Elastic Search is set up on Wikibase Cloud. Recent example being T309005. Due to lack of observability of the service state and the search usage on Wikibase Cloud wikis, the current approach to investigate and (attempt to) solve those issues was quite unstructured and guesswork-based. This task is to track a more methodical approach. Merge this one into T309005 if those seems to be conceptually identical.
