I would like to set up a table or other convenient location where people can come by and informally talk to us (me, and any other available members of the [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Search_Platform | Search Platform team ]]) about the complexities and difficulties of searching on-wiki—especially in languages other than English and projects other than Wikipedia. Of course anyone is welcome to chat about search, including advanced users and editors who may have atypical searching use cases.
I don't really have a presentation planned, I just want to talk to people about how they use search on-wiki and how we can make it better.
