I met event organizers of the Women Tech storm hackathon who are exploring ways to retain/track candidates from their events. We use [[ https://wikimedia.biterg.io/ | Bitergia's analytics ]] tool for the Wikimedia technical community metrics. Though Bitergia provides useful information, it requires some understanding of how it works; a series of steps to execute before obtaining statistics for a particular event, After having a cit is not that with them and being reminded of your tool again at Wikimaniaeasy to load participants data into the tool, I was wondering if we could expand this tool so that other event organizers in the movement could use it in a similar way like with the AWMD initiativeand it is cumbersome to keep track of participants activity frequently over time via this tool.
Not quite sure if this is a good idea[[ https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/g/labs/tools/awmd-stats | AWMD stats tool ]] give insights into monthly statistics of technical contributors to Wikimedia projects that are part of the Africa Wikimedia Developers project.
Gaining inspiration from AWMD stats tool, thoughts welcome!it might be nice to design and develop a proof of concept that demonstrates what an extended version of AWMD tool for use by other event organizers in the Wikimedia movement would look like.

But, if it is, then maybe we could consider creating a Phabricator ticketPossible mentor(s): @srishakatux, see what others think about this idea and probably this task could become a good candidate for Wikimedia outreach programs?
