This series of editathons is a means to engage most of Wikimedians from Cameroon (Buea) who are volunteer developers into primarily the Wikimedia projects and to show them how they can as well engage themselves in developing something of that sort to help other volunteers. Given that the affiliate Community is looking at launching a project to keep these volunteers active while they ride on with the aim of fostering their desire to contribute towards the Foundation's mission in the African society, these series of editathons is a means of opening the minds of the volunteers to the various projects they can build to help other volunteers enter data or build completely new projects as well.
